Oradea hosts Jazz by the River as Tiszagyenda completes major upgrades

The FestiFall festival in Oradea, Romania, continues to expand, offering a diverse program that attracts increasing numbers of tourists. As part of the festivities, the ‘Jazz by the River’ series provides a tranquil alternative to the main city celebrations. Located on the right bank of the Crișul Repede river near the Garasos Bridge, the event offers live jazz performances, such as the contemporary fusion music of the Marquis Collective, in a setting designed for relaxation away from the main stage noise.

In Hungary, the village of Tiszagyenda has completed the ‘Livable Tiszagyenda’ development project. With an investment exceeding 226 million HUF, the initiative has revitalized the town center and surrounding areas. Key improvements include a new community building, a playground, an outdoor fitness park, a bicycle pump track, and a children’s traffic training track. The project also focused on environmental enhancements, adding over 1,500 square meters of green space, and improving accessibility through new pedestrian crossings and parking facilities.
