Orašje leads in attracting EU funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The city of Orašje has been recognized as a leading municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina for attracting European Union funds. This follows the conclusion of the “Bridge of Development” project, a joint cross-border initiative between the City of Orašje and the Development Agency of Vukovar-Srijem County in Croatia.

Supported by the Croatian Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the project aimed to strengthen institutional and technical capacities. In Orašje, the investment included the procurement of 27 new computers to modernize infrastructure and keep pace with technological trends. The project, valued at approximately 50,000 euros, is part of a larger cross-border cooperation framework involving Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro, for which Orašje has secured nearly one million euros.
