Oral Surgery Specialists of Idaho opens smile makeover applications

Oral Surgery Specialists of Idaho has opened applications for its Second Chance Smile Makeover Program. The initiative offers one recipient free dental implants to restore their bite, function, and smile.

Applications are being accepted via the office website through September 4. Dr. Mark Baker noted that the program is designed for candidates with nonrestorable teeth but sufficient bone structure. The process typically involves extracting damaged teeth, placing implants, and providing a prosthesis.

The winner will be announced in November, just before Thanksgiving. Following the selection, a temporary prosthesis is secured within 48 hours, with the final functional prosthesis completed approximately six months later. Candidates from Southeast Idaho, including Pocatello and Blackfoot, are encouraged to apply by sharing their personal stories.
