Oralis dental clinic closures prompt consumer warnings

The Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) has issued guidance for patients affected by the closure of several Oralis Group dental clinics. The closures have left patients with interrupted treatments and unpaid advances in multiple locations, including Elche, Getxo, Palencia, Pamplona, and Torrejón de Ardoz.

The OCU advises affected individuals to gather all documentation, such as contracts, invoices, budgets, and promotional materials, to prove their service agreements. Patients are encouraged to submit written claims to the company to document the breach of contract and to request their full medical histories.

For those who financed their treatments, the OCU recommends contacting financial institutions to request the liquidation and cancellation of credits, as the contracted services are no longer being provided. The organization is also calling for improved regulation, increased inspections, and legal changes to prioritize consumer rights during insolvency proceedings.
