Oran hosts digital empowerment training under ‘7-77’ programme

A training session focused on new technologies and digitalization has launched in Oran under the theme ‘From exploration to empowerment’. The initiative is part of the ‘7-77’ national digital empowerment programme, spearheaded by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in coordination with Algérie Télécom and the mobile operator Mobilis.

The program aims to provide citizens across various age groups with essential digital skills to ensure safe and effective use of digital spaces. The two-day training session, held at the Mobilis service center in Bir El Djir, includes 250 participants.

Workshops cover several modern technological themes, including artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, and personal data protection. The training is designed to help participants utilize digital tools in their daily lives, studies, and professional environments, thereby promoting digital inclusion within society.
