Orange Blossom Classic features Florida A&M and South Carolina State

The 2026 Orange Blossom Classic is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 6, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The matchup features Florida A&M University and South Carolina State University, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

The contest highlights a matchup between two championship-winning coaches: South Carolina State’s Chennis Berry and Florida A&M’s Quinn Gray Sr. South Carolina State enters the game following a 10-3 season in 2025, while Florida A&M’s Gray Sr. previously led Albany State to a Division II title.

Executive director Kendra Bulluck-Major, who has led the event since its 2021 revival, noted the high caliber of the pairing. Historically, Florida A&M leads the all-time series against South Carolina State with a record of 34-26-2.
