Orange Business selects NGN for data center services in Turkey

Orange Business has signed a 10 year agreement with NGN to migrate its global customers' data to a data center in Tuzla, Turkey. The partnership aims to provide cloud and artificial intelligence services through the facility.

NGN Chairman İnanç Erol announced that the company will increase its data capacity from 16 MW to 22 MW to accommodate the new agreement. The facility, known as Star of Bosphorus, is being upgraded with NVIDIA and HPE GreenLake infrastructure to achieve NVIDIA certified AI Factory status.

This move comes amid rising global demand for AI and cloud computing infrastructure. Turkey aims to increase its national data center capacity from 250 MW to 1 GW by 2030.
