Orange Moldova Foundation launches Orange Opera project

The Orange Moldova Foundation has launched ‘Orange Opera’, a new project designed to provide young talents from Moldovan art schools with professional experience at the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The initiative targets students in grades 5 through 7, aged 14 to 18, who wish to apply their artistic training in a professional setting. Participants will engage in rehearsals, mentoring sessions, and practical activities to learn the stages of opera production and the collaboration between artistic and technical teams.

Professional guidance will be provided by industry experts, including Nicolae Dohotaru, General Director and Principal Conductor of the theatre; Cristian Spătaru, conductor, composer, and artistic director; and Iurie Matei, Head of the Technical-Scenic Department. Following an application and audition process on October 17–18, 30 youths will be selected for an intensive five-day camp held at the theatre from October 27–31.
