Orange Morocco opens school and training center in Al Haouz

Orange Morocco has inaugurated a new school unit and a training center for women and youth in Anmrou village, located in the Al Haouz province. Developed in partnership with the Al Salam Foundation for Social Development, the project aims to support local development and provide educational infrastructure for areas affected by the 2023 earthquake.

The new school facility includes classrooms for preschool and primary education, sanitary facilities, and teacher housing. To promote digital literacy, the school is equipped with internet services and electronic tablets. The training center, known as the Al Salam Center, focuses on economic empowerment for women through vocational training in activities such as beekeeping, cheese production, and the processing of aromatic plants and herbs.

As part of its broader “Back to School” initiative for the 2026-2027 season, Orange Morocco is supporting approximately 4,000 students across various rural digital schools in Morocco by providing school supplies and materials. The Anmrou project is expected to benefit roughly 600 local residents.
