Orange raises 2026 profit forecasts driven by international growth

Orange has raised its 2026 operating profit (EBITDAaL) growth target to over 4.5%, up from a previous goal of 4%. This revision follows third-quarter results where revenue reached €12.2 billion, a 3.6% increase on a comparable basis.

The growth is primarily fueled by strong performance in international markets, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, which saw a 14.2% revenue increase. This contrasts with the French market, where revenue growth was limited to 0.5%. Other notable regional contributors include Poland, with 7.9% growth, and Spain, with 3.5% growth.

In France, the company reported record sales in mobile, fixed, and convergent offers, though mobile-only revenue declined by 3% due to lower average revenue per user (ARPU) amid intense competition. Additionally, Orange remains on track for the €20.4 billion acquisition of SFR assets, with a planned signing by the end of 2026 and closing expected by late 2027, pending regulatory and employee approvals.
