Orangetheory Fitness launches Apple Watch integration
Orangetheory Fitness has introduced OTconnect for Apple Watch, a new feature allowing members to connect their personal smartwatches to the studio’s proprietary performance-tracking system. The integration, which launched on October 23, enables members to monitor real-time data such as heart rate, heart rate zones, calories burned, and the brand’s signature Splat Points directly from their wrists during workouts.
Access to this feature requires a one-time fee of $99. Upon activation, members also receive up to two free months of Apple Music and Apple Fitness+. The service is compatible with Apple Watch models running watchOS 11.6 or later. This new digital integration serves as an alternative to the company’s existing OTconnect Beat heart rate monitor, which remains available for use.
