Orava parent appeals for responsibility regarding sick children in nurseries

A father in the Orava region has issued a public appeal regarding the responsibility of parents sending sick children to nursery schools. He reported that after his premature daughter recovered from an illness and returned to school, she was immediately reinfected by another child exhibiting clear symptoms, including heavy coughing, sneezing, and nasal discharge.

The father emphasized that while some parents may view minor symptoms as insignificant, such illnesses can lead to serious complications like bronchitis or hospitalization for vulnerable children, including those with asthma, weakened immunity, or those born prematurely.
