Orbital announces new studio album ‘Other’ and upcoming tour

Electronic music duo Orbital has announced their eleventh studio album, titled ‘Other’, scheduled for release on March 19, 2027, via London Records. The album is described as an ambitious project exploring themes of neurodiversity, identity, and outsiders, incorporating genres such as gothic folk, drum & bass, punk, and ambient music.

The duo has released the first single, ‘Mother, Maiden & Crone’, which features vocals from English actor Maxine Peake and draws on folklore and witchcraft themes. This marks their first new material since the 2023 album ‘Optical Delusion’.

To coincide with the release, Orbital will embark on ‘The Other Tour’ in Spring 2026 and 2027. The tour is set to begin on April 8 in Dublin at the 3Olympia Theatre, followed by dates in several UK cities including London, Manchester, and Belfast. European tour stops include Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Berlin, and Copenhagen.
