Orbital releases official Glastonbury 1994 live performance

The electronic music duo Orbital has officially released their full Glastonbury 1994 live performance, remastered for vinyl and CD via London Records. For three decades, the set was only available through low-quality bootlegs, BBC broadcasts, or online clips.

Comprised of brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll, Orbital’s 1994 set is regarded as a pivotal moment for dance music at the festival, helping to transition electronic music from underground rave culture into the mainstream. The performance featured tracks such as ‘Forever’, ‘Walk Now’, ‘Are We Here?’, ‘Sad But True’, and concluded with ‘Chime’. The release captures the complete arc of the performance, marking a significant milestone in the history of UK electronic music and its integration into major festival lineups.
