Orbital to release remastered Glastonbury 1994 performance
The electronic music duo Orbital is releasing an official, fully remastered version of their landmark 1994 Glastonbury Festival performance. Long available only through unofficial bootlegs and clips, the complete set will be released on multiple formats, including vinyl and CD, via London Records.
The 1994 performance occurred during a pivotal year for the English duo, brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll, following the release of their breakthrough album, Snivilisation. The set includes tracks such as ‘Forever’, ‘Sad But True’, ‘Are We Here?’, and the iconic ‘Chime’. The release captures a defining moment for dance music, demonstrating the genre's ability to deliver cinematic and powerful live performances on major festival stages.
