Orbán family firms post near‑3 billion‑forint profit in 2025
An analysis of 21 companies linked to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s family shows total equity exceeding 70 billion forints at the end of 2025. The largest entity, Dolomit Kőbányászati Ltd., recorded revenue close to 6 billion forints and a taxable profit of about 2.6 billion forints, almost all of which was distributed as dividends. Another major holding, BDPST Ingatlanforgalmazó és Beruházó Zrt., posted a taxable profit of 2.4 billion forints, down from the previous year’s record 21.5 billion.
The earnings are not reflected in Orbán’s official asset declaration. He noted a joint bank savings balance of roughly 5 million forints with his wife as of 31 December 2025, and listed only a small Budapest flat and a house in Felcsút as personal property, with no ownership of cars, yachts, aircraft or corporate stakes. The report also mentions stakes held by his mother, his mother‑in‑law, and his son‑in‑law, István Tiborcz, in several of the companies.
