Orca Energy and Orvana Minerals report regional operational updates

Orca Energy Group Inc. has released its Q2 2026 interim financial statements. The company reported a 2% decrease in revenue for the second quarter, primarily due to a decrease in current income tax adjustments. However, revenue for the first six months of the year increased by 5% compared to the previous year, driven by higher gas deliveries to the industrial sector. Gas volumes for the six-month period rose by 4%, despite a 3% quarterly decrease attributed to lower consumption by the Tanzanian Electric Supply Company Limited.

Separately, Orvana Minerals Corp. announced that its copper and gold-silver circuits at the Don Mario operation in Bolivia have entered the commercial production ramp-up phase. This follows the completion of commissioning for various processing stages, including crushing, milling, and acid leaching. The company aims to achieve stable commercial production by September 2026, despite facing logistical disruptions in May and June caused by 53 days of civil unrest and road blockades in Bolivia.
