Orchestra Giovanile della Magna Grecia to Perform at Telese Terme Concert for Festival I Suoni di Sillene

On Monday, 3 August at 21:15, the Amphitheatre of the Terme di Telese in Italy will host an exclusive concert by the Orchestra Giovanile della Magna Grecia, conducted by Maestro Piero Romano. The programme includes Jean Sibelius’s Valse Triste and Karelia Suite, followed by Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.

The concert is part of the fifth season of the “I Suoni di Sillene – La musica nelle terre delle acque” festival, created and directed by Maestro Paolo Ponziano Ciardi. The festival, originally launched in Chianciano Terme, now links historic spa towns—including Casciana Terme and Telese Terme—to music and wellness. The orchestra was selected in a record‑breaking audition in January 2026, drawing over 170 young musicians aged 14‑25 from seven Italian regions. The event is presented as a platform for professional growth and cultural promotion across the country.
