Orchestra Sinfonica Città di Grosseto to close festival in Chianciano Terme

The fifth season of the “I Suoni di Sillene” music festival will conclude on Saturday, August 22, at the Parco Termale Acqua Santa in Chianciano Terme. The closing concert features the Orchestra Sinfonica Città di Grosseto, conducted by Lawrence Golan.

Soprano Marija Jelić will perform as the soloist. The program, titled “Notti d’Estate,” includes Hector Berlioz’s “Les nuits d’été” and Franz Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 85 in B-flat major, also known as “La Reine.”

Launched in 2022, the festival has expanded from Tuscany to include parts of Lazio and Campania, aiming to integrate classical music with the region's thermal wellness culture.
