The Orchestra Sinfonica di Matera (OSM) has announced its fifth concert season, titled ‘Crescendo’, scheduled to run from September 12 to December 30, 2026, at the Auditorium Raffaele Gervasio.

The season features nine subscription concerts and is characterized by a commitment to young professionals, as all OSM musicians are under the age of 35. The program includes works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Stravinsky, and Verdi.

The season begins on September 12 with a special presentation titled ‘Giovani Talenti – Mozart 270’, featuring clarinetist Luca Tonolli and conductor Domenico Longo. The official inauguration will take place on September 24, led by conductor Donato Renzetti and violinist Giovanni Andrea Zanon, focusing on the music of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.
