Orchestral performances scheduled in Goiânia and Campinas

Two distinct orchestral performances are scheduled in Brazil. In Goiânia, the Mozart Children's Orchestra will present the ‘Sinfonia da Infância’ concert at the Basileu França Theater on Wednesday, October 7. The repertoire, featuring children and adolescents aged 7 to 14, includes folk songs, film themes such as ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Game of Thrones’, and classical works.

In Campinas, the Unicamp Symphony Orchestra (OSU) will hold a free concert on Thursday, October 8, at the Faculty of Medical Sciences Auditorium. The performance features American bass trombonist Darrin C. Milling, who will perform ‘Invenções Brasileiras Nº 1’, a piece composed by Juliana Ripke specifically for him. The program also includes Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 2 in C Major.
