Orchestro targets VMware replacement market with Contrabass solution

Orchestro, an AI infrastructure software company, is expanding its strategy to target the VMware replacement market by focusing on post-migration operations and scalability. Following changes to Broadcom’s VMware licensing policies, many enterprises are seeking alternative virtualization environments.

Orchestro’s server virtualization solution, ‘Contrabass,’ aims to address common operational challenges encountered after migrating workloads. Unlike standard environments that require manual correlation of data, Contrabass integrates alarms, recent task histories, and resource status to accelerate root cause analysis during failures. The system also tracks performance bottlenecks beyond CPU and memory usage, extending its diagnostic capabilities to physical infrastructure, including hosts, switches, and network ports.
