Order of Malta to hold National Day in 42 Italian squares

The Sovereign Military Order of Malta will hold its National Day on Saturday, October 10, featuring a record presence in 42 Italian squares. This marks the highest number of locations since the initiative began in 2018.

In cities such as Catania, Siracusa, and Ragusa, members and volunteers will host events to present their healthcare, social, and relief activities. The program includes free health screenings, such as blood glucose and blood pressure measurements conducted by Order physicians, as well as first aid demonstrations and information on how to participate in volunteer projects.

Lorenzo Borghese, President of the Association of Italian Knights of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, stated that the record number of locations demonstrates the organization's extensive presence across Italy and its commitment to serving the most vulnerable populations.
