Order of Malta to host National Day across 42 Italian squares

The Order of Malta will hold its National Day on October 10, featuring events in 42 Italian squares. This marks the highest number of participating locations since the initiative began in 2018.

During the event, members and volunteers will provide information regarding the organization's healthcare, social, and rescue activities. Citizens can access free health screenings, including blood glucose, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation measurements. Additionally, medical professionals will offer prevention advice and demonstrations on resuscitation and the use of defibrillators.

Lorenzo Borghese, president of the Association of Italian Knights of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, stated that the record number of locations demonstrates the organization's widespread presence in Italy and its commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
