Ordu beach reopened after skyscraper demolition

Following a court order, three 17-story skyscraper blocks totaling 280 apartments built on a coastline in the Kirazlimanı neighborhood of Ordu's Altınordu district have been demolished. The removal of these structures has reopened the beach area to the public.

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler initiated the demolition based on the principle that "beaches belong to the people." The newly reclaimed beach area and the Çamlı Köşk site have since become popular spots for local residents and tourists.
