Ordu City Hospital begins accepting patients

Ordu City Hospital has officially begun accepting patients. Located within the Ordu University Cumhuriyet Campus, the 1,200-bed facility is designed to provide healthcare services to Ordu and its surrounding provinces.

The medical complex features 40 operating rooms, 281 intensive care beds, and 386 outpatient clinics. Additional amenities include an IVF center, a helipad, a nursery, and a parking garage with a capacity for over 2,000 vehicles.

Ordu Governor Muammer Erol, along with Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler and Ordu University Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Baş, were among the first to visit the facility and undergo medical examinations. Governor Erol noted that the commencement of services on September 19 holds historical significance for the city and stated that a formal opening ceremony will be held with the attendance of the President.
