Ordu expands public transit with new hospital and district routes

New public transportation services have been launched in Ordu, Turkey, to improve connectivity to key service areas and healthcare facilities.

In the Gölköy district, a new minibus line has commenced operations. This route connects the Gölköy Neighborhood Kale border to the State Hospital and the Industrial Zone, facilitating easier access to health services and industrial hubs. This project was part of the commitments made by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler.

Additionally, new minibus routes have been established to provide direct access to the Ordu City Hospital. Six specific lines (52-SH, 52-ASH, 52-CSH, 53-ASH, 57-SH, and 62-ASH) have been designated to connect various neighborhoods and strategic points, such as the University and the city center, to the hospital. To support economic accessibility, a 30-minute discounted transfer period has been introduced for passengers using the ORDUMKART electronic payment system at designated transfer points.
