Ordu Metropolitan Municipality transforms Turnasuyu Kordon Park into a life center

The Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is advancing construction projects at the Turnasuyu Kordon Park in the Gülyalı district to transform the area from a standard green space into a comprehensive life center.

A key component of the development is an 80-meter-long and 4-meter-wide pedestrian bridge designed to provide seamless connectivity between the park's first and second stages. Assembly of the bridge is currently underway, with completion of steelwork expected to be followed by railing and lighting installations. The bridge is targeted to open to the public in August.

Ordu Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler announced that the project will include several new social facilities to serve the region. These additions include a winged animal zoo, a wedding hall, and the Ayışığı Kafe, which is intended to provide affordable services to citizens. The initiative aims to create a major attraction for both the Gülyalı district and the wider Ordu region.
