Ordu to host Tour of Ordu international cycling races in 2026

The city of Ordu is preparing to host the Tour of Ordu on August 15-16, 2026. Organized by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality in partnership with the Turkish Cycling Federation, the event is part of the 2026 UCI International Racing Calendar under the UCI Europe Tour as two UCI 1.2 category men's elite road races.

The competition will feature two distinct races: the Ordu Coast to Summit and the Ordu Black Sea Classic. The routes are designed to challenge athletes with technical climbs and endurance tests, moving from the Black Sea coast to high-altitude plateaus. The Ordu Coast to Summit covers 106 km with a total elevation gain of 2,794 m, while the Ordu Black Sea Classic spans 119.1 km with an elevation gain of 2,708 m.

Seventeen teams are expected to participate, representing countries including Turkey, Italy, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, China, the USA, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. The event aims to increase Ordu's international visibility in both sports and tourism.
