Ordu upgrades water treatment plants in Ünye and Kumru

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is modernising the drinking‑water treatment facilities in the districts of Ünye and Kumru. The works, overseen by OSKİ General Manager Murat Us and supported by Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler, aim to increase capacity, improve efficiency and bring the plants up to current technology standards.

The project involves an investment of about 90 million Turkish lira, with the Kumru plant being rebuilt from the ground up. Officials said the upgraded infrastructure will provide a strong, safe and sustainable water supply for years to come, delivering higher quality, reliable and uninterrupted service to residents.
