Ordu's Aktaş Beach Revamped Becomes Popular Summer Destination

Aktaş Beach in the Perşembe district of Ordu Province, Turkey, was renovated and reopened by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality under Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler. The redevelopment added modern facilities and social amenities, making the beach family‑friendly and attracting both local residents and visitors from other regions.

The beach operates daily from 09:00 to 21:00 during the summer season. Admission is 75 TL, while sun‑bed and umbrella services cost 350 TL; children aged 0‑6 enter free. Visitors have praised the beach’s cleanliness, organization and natural setting, noting that it rivals beaches on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts and contributes to the tourism potential of Perşembe.
