Turkish municipalities launch beach opening, transport crackdowns and sidewalk clean‑ups

The Ordu Metropolitan Municipality renovated and reopened Perşembe Kadınlar Plajı for the summer season, adding toilets, a mosque, a children’s playground and a cafeteria. The beach operates from 10:00‑19:00 with an admission fee of 75 TL, while children under 7, seniors, veterans, families of martyrs and disabled visitors enter free.
