FK Čukarički celebrates centenary and signs Đorđe Jovanović

FK Čukarički has officially announced the return of former Serbian national team striker Đorđe Jovanović. The move comes as a strategic response to recent poor performances in the Serbian Super League and an injury to forward Fiorin Durmišaj. Jovanović, who previously played for the club before stints at clubs like Maccabi Tel Aviv and Basel, signed a two-year deal following the termination of his contract with the Swiss side.

In addition to roster changes, the club recently celebrated its centenary anniversary. The gala event was attended by numerous figures from the Serbian football community, including officials from the Football Association of Serbia and representatives from major rival clubs Crvena zvezda and Partizan.
