Oreficeria Rubini closes historic jewelry shop in Alba Adriatica

The historic Oreficeria Rubini jewelry store in Alba Adriatica has permanently closed its doors, marking the end of a business that had been a local landmark since the 1950s. The shop, located on Viale Vittoria, was managed in recent years by Roberta Rubini, who expressed gratitude to the community for their long-standing support.

The business was founded by Quintino Rubini, a craftsman and community figure involved in the development of Alba Adriatica. The shop was subsequently managed by his son, Cesare, and then his granddaughter, Roberta.

The closure has sparked local reflection on the commercial decline of certain areas in the Teramo region. Residents have noted that several other long-standing businesses, including grocery stores and butchers, have also shuttered in the area, leaving vacant storefronts and altering the social and economic fabric of the town.
