Oregon Ducks defeat No. 20 Northwestern 34-26

The Oregon Ducks secured a 34-26 comeback victory against No. 20 Northwestern at Autzen Stadium. Trailing by as much as 14 points in the first half, Oregon rallied in the fourth quarter to overcome the Wildcats.

Quarterback Dylan Raiola led the offensive effort, completing 22 of 31 passes for 336 yards and three touchdowns. His scoring connections included Dakorien Moore, who finished with 128 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Jamari Johnson. Freshman running back Brandon Smith provided a crucial fourth-quarter boost, rushing for 82 yards and the go-ahead touchdown after other primary backs were sidelined with injuries.

Northwestern, led by quarterback Aidan Chiles, who accounted for 281 passing yards and 93 rushing yards, controlled much of the early game. The Wildcats benefited from the play-calling of offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, a former Oregon head coach. However, Northwestern was unable to maintain the lead as the Oregon defense tightened in the second half.

The win marks a significant moment for Oregon following a recent coaching shakeup, where assistant Jay Johnson took over play-calling duties after the dismissal of offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer.
