Oklahoma State upsets No. 6 Oregon 39-31

Oklahoma State pulled off a major upset by defeating No. 6 Oregon 39-31 at Boone Pickens Stadium. The victory for the Cowboys ended a 21-game losing streak against FBS opponents and a 12-game overall losing streak. Quarterback Drew Mestemaker led the performance with 317 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 109 rushing yards, including a decisive 10-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Oregon, a preseason No. 2 team, suffered a significant blow to its national championship aspirations. Quarterback Dante Moore finished with 191 passing yards and two touchdowns but struggled with offensive rhythm and protection. The win marks the first home victory for Oklahoma State head coach Eric Morris. Following the game, fans stormed the field in Stillwater, celebrating the win by tearing down a goalpost and carrying it to Theta Pond.
