Oregon Ducks defeat Portland State 84-0 in record-setting blowout

No. 21 Oregon secured a record-setting 84-0 victory over Portland State at Autzen Stadium on Friday night. The win served as a redemption following a recent upset loss to Oklahoma State. Quarterback Dante Moore threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns, while backup Dylan Raiola completed 11 passes for 124 yards and three touchdowns.

The Ducks' 84 points set a new single-game scoring record for the program in the modern era and marked the third-largest margin of victory in school history. The victory also extended Oregon's nonconference home winning streak to 40 games and marked head coach Dan Lanning's 50th win.

Despite the dominant performance, the game drew criticism from some observers regarding Oregon's aggressive tactics. Critics pointed to the team's decision to continue scoring and running no-huddle plays while leading by significant margins late in the game as being unsportsmanlike. Portland State remains winless at 0-4.
