Oregon Ducks football sees roster shifts and NFL transitions

The Oregon Ducks football program is seeing significant activity across recruiting, roster development, and professional transitions. Quarterback Dante Moore, a Heisman candidate and top NFL Draft prospect, is returning to the team for his final season. Former Heisman winner Robert Griffin III has labeled Moore as a player who is “a lot better than people think he is,” noting the team's returning offensive depth.

On the recruiting front, linebacker Brayton Feister has committed to Oregon, while the program continues to pursue high-profile talent like quarterback Trey Wright. Within the current roster, head coach Dan Lanning highlighted the progress of sophomore defensive lineman Matthew Johnson during fall camp.

Additionally, several former Ducks are making transitions to the NFL. Receiver Malik Benson is gaining attention with the Las Vegas Raiders, while first-round pick Kenyon Sadiq is currently managing a hernia injury with the New York Jets.
