Oregon Ducks men's basketball defeat UFV Cascades 121-40
The University of Oregon Ducks men's basketball team defeated the UFV Cascades 121-40 in an exhibition game held in Abbotsford on Saturday, August 8.
Oregon established dominance early in the game. After a brief 9-9 tie in the first quarter, the Ducks executed a 44-0 scoring run. They led 66-13 at halftime and maintained control throughout the second half, outscoring the Cascades 24-8 in the final quarter.
Andrew Meadow led the Ducks with 24 points, shooting 9-for-12 from the field. Other notable contributors included Fred Payne with 15 points and Dwayne Aristode with 13 points. The Ducks shot 54.4% overall and dominated the rebounding battle 67-28. The Cascades were led by Amari Jones, who scored eight points, while struggling with a 18.8% field goal percentage.
