Oregon Ducks pursue top 2028 recruit Jayshawn Mitchell

Oregon Ducks head coach Dan Lanning is utilizing personalized video messages as part of a recruiting strategy to secure top talent for the 2028 cycle. The coaching staff, including running backs coach Ra’Shaad Samples and offensive line coach A’lique Terry, recently sent birthday video messages to four-star running back Jayshawn Mitchell.

Mitchell, ranked as the top running back in the 2028 class by Rivals, is expected to visit Eugene during Oregon’s matchup against the Michigan Wolverines at Autzen Stadium. He is also scheduled to visit Columbus for the game against Ohio State. While the Oklahoma Sooners currently lead in recruitment predictions, Oregon is actively pursuing the San Antonio-based athlete.
