Oregon Ducks QB Dante Moore skips NFL draft, returns for 2026 season
Quarterback Dante Moore declined a projected top‑five NFL Draft slot that could have netted roughly $55 million, opting to stay at the University of Oregon for the 2026 season in hopes of leading the Ducks to a national championship and improving his draft position for 2027. Moore said he reacted to the decision by "turning my phone off and going to golf," reflecting his confidence in the choice.
At the same time, former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola transferred to Oregon, joining a quarterback room that now includes Moore. Head coach Dan Lanning noted that Raiola chose Oregon knowing Moore might return and praised Raiola’s work ethic and talent, stating, "I think there's always a looming threat, but not with Dylan." The duo is central to the Ducks' offensive plans as they aim for a title run.
