Oregon Ducks stay near top of 2027 recruiting rankings as Notre Dame contests key prospect
The Oregon Ducks football program, led by head coach Dan Lanning, is ranked fourth nationally in the 2027 recruiting class. Recent commitments include five‑star wide receiver Xavier Sabb, four‑star cornerback Hayden Stepp and several other high‑rated players across the roster.
The Ducks are currently locked in a close recruiting battle with Notre Dame for four‑star defensive tackle Brayden Parks. Insider Tom Loy of 247Sports reported that Notre Dame appears more confident about securing Parks, putting pressure on Oregon to shift its focus to other targets such as linebacker Brayton Feister and various defensive linemen.
Despite the competition, Oregon’s strategy of early scouting, strong high‑school coach relationships and modern facilities continues to attract top talent, keeping the Ducks among the nation’s elite recruiting programs for the upcoming season.
