Oregon men's golf team finishes third at SMC Invitational

The Oregon men's golf team secured a third-place finish at the Saint Mary's Invitational, concluding the three-day tournament at 17-under par. Sophomore Adam Anderson earned a share of the individual title, finishing at 10-under par after rounds of 69, 68, and 69. Anderson was part of a four-way tie for the individual championship that included players from Santa Clara, Washington, and Cal.

Saint Mary's men's golf team finished in a tie for 11th place in the 18-team field. Despite inclement weather and challenging course conditions at Bayonet, the Gaels moved up two spots on the final day. James Williams was the top individual for Saint Mary's with a three-round score of seven-over.

Washington claimed the team title after posting a tournament-low 16-under final round on Wednesday.
