Oregon State players Braden Atkinson and Jesse Legree earn Pac-12 honors

Oregon State University players Braden Atkinson and Jesse Legree have received weekly honors from the Pac-12 Conference following the Beavers' 52-17 victory over Montana. Atkinson was named Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 333 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for a score. He is the first Beaver quarterback since 2013 to surpass 1,000 passing yards within the first three games of a season.

Wide receiver Jesse Legree was named Freshman of the Week, marking his third consecutive time receiving the honor. Legree recorded 100 receiving yards in the win, bringing his season total to 476 yards. He is the first Beaver to record three straight 100-yard receiving games since 2013.

Regarding recruiting, Jesse Legree's decision to join Oregon State was attributed to established relationships and the opportunity for early playing time. The program is currently in an NCAA evaluation period, allowing coaches to visit high school campuses and observe athletes in person.
