Oregon State players Braden Atkinson and Jesse Legree earn Pac-12 honors

Oregon State quarterback Braden Atkinson and wide receiver Jesse Legree have received Pac-12 Conference honors following the Beavers' 66-14 victory over San Diego State. Atkinson was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. He has become one of only four FBS quarterbacks this century to record consecutive games with at least 400 passing yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Atkinson currently leads the nation with 2,257 passing yards and 21 touchdowns. Legree was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, marking his sixth time receiving the honor this season. Legree leads the nation with 932 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, also becoming the first Oregon State wide receiver to record over 100 receiving yards in six consecutive games.

Following his successful transition through the transfer portal from Mercer, Atkinson is noted as a potential high-profile target for other programs in the upcoming offseason due to his statistical performance and high completion percentage.
