Oregon Whiskey Festival to feature thirteen local distilleries

The sixth annual Oregon Whiskey Festival, hosted by Oregon Spirit Distillers in Bend, will feature thirteen local distilleries showcasing various spirits, including bourbons, ryes, and American single malts.

This year’s event highlights increased aging processes, with several participants offering longer age statements than in previous years. Notable offerings include a nine-year triticale whiskey from Branch Point Distillery and an eight-year-old whiskey finished on cognac staves from Bird Creek Whiskey. The festival emphasizes the use of local ingredients, such as corn, barley, wheat, and rye grown in Oregon, as well as the state's soft water sources.
