Oregon wineries Amaterra and Willamette Valley win top USA Today awards

Amaterra Winery in Portland's West Hills was named America’s best winery restaurant in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. Director of operations Mark Beringer praised the honor, noting the restaurant’s Pacific Northwest menu and a recent gold‑medal Pinot Noir.

Willamette Valley Vineyards was also recognized, receiving its third consecutive #1 ranking for Best Wine Tasting Room and, for the first time, the #1 Best Wine Club nationwide. The winery’s 14‑tier club serves more than 27,000 shareholders and highlights its estate experiences across Oregon, Washington and California.

Both awards were announced as part of the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, highlighting the growing popularity of Oregon’s wine scene amid broader industry challenges.
