Oregon Women’s Basketball wins exhibition game against Bushnell University
The Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team secured a 120-35 victory over Bushnell University in their preseason exhibition game at Matthew Knight Arena. The matchup served as a tune-up for the 2026-27 season, allowing head coach Kelly Graves to test rotations and debut new talent.
Freshmen played a significant role in the win, contributing a total of 52 points. Guard Brooklynn Haywood led the team with 22 points, shooting 6-of-6 from three-point range, while La’u Pele Falatea added 14 points. Veteran transfers Mallory Heyer and Hilary Fuller each scored 13 points.
Coach Graves noted that while the game provided a positive opportunity for players to get comfortable on the court, there are areas for improvement, specifically regarding second-chance scoring and rebounding against larger opponents.
