ORF Landkrimi begins filming 17th and 18th Styria episodes

Filming has commenced for the 17th and 18th installments of the popular ORF Landkrimi series set in Styria. The production, which began on August 18, 2026, is scheduled to continue in Graz and the surrounding areas until mid-October.

The 17th case, titled ‘Steirerzwang’, follows investigators as they probe a series of bombings linked to a religious sect. The 18th case, ‘Steirerflucht’, involves the murder of an investigative journalist and uncovers a nine-year-old corruption scandal within political circles. This plotline also presents a personal challenge for character Lena Herzog, played by Maya Unger, as her supposedly deceased father is implicated as a potential perpetrator.

Lead actors Hary Prinz and Maya Unger are joined by an ensemble cast including Jakob Seeböck, Sabrina Reiter, and Lukas Watzl. Wolfgang Murnberger is returning to direct the episodes.
