ORF Long Night of Museums attracts 300,000 visitors across Austria
The 26th annual ORF Long Night of Museums took place across Austria, drawing approximately 300,000 visitors nationwide. In Salzburg, around 21,400 people attended, visiting 42 different cultural institutions including new participants such as Schloss Hellbrunn, the Torf-Glas-Ziegelmuseum in Bürmoos, and the Stille-Nacht-Museum in Oberndorf.
In Tyrol, more than 50 venues participated. A notable highlight in the Landhaus included an exhibition regarding Holocaust survivor Leokadia Justman, which attracted 313 visitors. The event featured live performances by artist Alwin Hecher and educational programs for children, focusing on the history of the Nazi era in the region.
